Delta Air Lines serves as a Signature Award Sponsor of the annual JA National Student Leadership Summit competition which provides high school students the chance to acquire and enhance 21st Century Learning through rich and rewarding collaborative experiences designed to engage creative and critical thinking skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills, and communication and teamwork skills. Fifteen or more teams of students from across the US will participate in this national event each June. The Delta Social Impact Award is given to the team that creates the best solution to address a local, national or global social concern by connecting customers, stakeholders and community; demonstrating great customer service; advancing education in their company and creating value through innovation in all aspects of their business.
